Amanda Maples Cook, 44, of Lee County, GA, died July 8, 2025 at her residence in Leesburg, GA. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00 am at The Church At The Groves. Bobby Jackson will officiate. Committal services will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 2:00 pm. Friends are welcome to attend.
Amanda was born in Albany, GA on September 8, 1980 to Loyd and Linda Maples. She grew up in Lee County, GA and graduated from Lee County High School in 1999. Amanda graduated from Darton College with a Nursing Degree and was employed with Orthopedics and Associates for many years.
For the last nine years, she has been employed with Fleming and Riles as a Personal Account Manager. Amanda was a member of The Church At The Groves and enjoyed the Beach and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband and son, Bobby Cook and Carson Cook, her mother, Linda (Julian) Peek, GA and her twin sister, Ashley (Ted) Eschmann all of Lee County, GA, a sister, April (Brian) Sapp of Preston, GA, and her father-in-law, Bobby Jackson of Chehalis, WA.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 18, 2025 from 5:30 until 7:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.
