Mrs. Amanda Kay Deming

Amanda Kay Deming, 48, of Reno, passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at her home. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Young officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26th, at the funeral home. Amanda, the daughter of Lee Jay & Helen Maxine Wheeler Deming, was born July 4, 1964, in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. She graduated from Smithville High School in Smithville, TX in 1982. She was an administrative assistant for David Glass Investments, LLC. Amanda was a proud member of the Army Mom's. Her parents, a brother, Daniel Deming & a nephew, Daniel Deming preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons, David Wayne Miller, Jr. of Reno, Steven DeWayne Miller & wife Angela Marie of Ft. Bliss – El Paso, and Jeremy Ray Miller of Reno, a sister, Helen Deborah "Debbie" Measom & husband Raleigh (who reared her) of Gonzales, TX, two brothers, John Jay Deming & wife Sharon of Bruno, AR and Mark Lewis Deming of AR, grandchildren, Aubrianna Reese "Aubrey" Miller and David Wayne Miller, III, nieces & nephews, Karina Ann Ochs, Joseph Lee Measom, Christina Grifaldo, Russell E. Measom, Rachel Ashorn, Lane Deming & Shane Deming. Casket bearers will be: David Miller, Jr., Steven Miller, Jeremy Miller and Bryan Glass.
