Amanda Michelle Forgey

Amanda Michelle Forgey, 33 of rural Camden, Indiana passed away quietly at home at 3:45 a.m., Thursday morning, August 13th following a brief illness. She will be in state on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Kress, Texas from noon until 8:00 p.m. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at St. Paul's Catholic Church and interment will follow at Kress Cemetery. Amanda was born October 23, 1981 in Hale Center, TX. She was the daughter of Jose (Joe) Trevino Jr., and Dina Zambrano Trevino. She graduated from Kress High School in 2000 and attended West Texas A&M University. Amanda was very talented and creative. She loved to paint and was editor of the Kress Chronicle before she moved to Indiana. She was a very loving mother. She was married October 31, 2014 at Delphi, IN to Jason Forgey. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her husband, Jason; her mother Dina Trevino of Kress, TX; four sons Jordan, Izaac, Zay and Brenden Reyes all of Kress; two brothers, Leonard Trevino of Kress and Jesse Salas of Plainview, TX; her paternal grandmother Maria Trevino of Kress and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
