Amanda Lyn Foster, 41, of North Vernon, Indiana, was embraced by the arms of eternity on Friday, November 14, 2025. Born on May 28, 1984, in Seymour, Indiana.
An employee at Elton USA in North Vernon, Amanda was known for her work ethic and her ability to bring a smile to the faces of her colleagues. She attended the First Church of the Nazarene in North Vernon.
Survivors include her children, Caleb J.N. Sandlin of Scottsburg, Indiana, and Katelyn M.A. Ross of North Vernon, Indiana, knew no bounds. She instilled in them the values of kindness, perseverance, and the importance of family-a legacy that will continue to live on through them. She was the daughter of James and Sandra Foster of Crothersville, Indiana, She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lou Hodge, and her brother, Jason Andrew Foster.
The community will have the opportunity to pay their respects and celebrate Amanda's life during a funeral service at 5:00 pm on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana. The service will be officiated by Rev. Justin Miles. Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 pm on the same day at Buchanan Funeral Home. Amanda's final resting place will be at Uniontown Cemetery in Uniontown, Indiana, where her ashes will be interred at a later date.
