Amanda Espinoza, age 38, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2024, after a determined and courageous six-year battle with cancer. Born on January 3, 1986, in Albuquerque, Amanda was lovingly adopted and raised by her grandparents, Charles and Arlene Espinoza, who nurtured her with love and the strong values she carried throughout her life.
Amanda embraced her many roles in life with grace and dedication—she was a devoted mother, a loving wife, a treasured sister, a proud aunt, a beloved niece, and a loyal friend. Her kindness and generosity were felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Amanda was a woman of many passions and joys. She found excitement in her travels, particularly her cherished trips to Las Vegas. Regular phone calls with her sisters were a source of comfort and connection, filled with shared stories and laughter. Going to Bingo and the Casino. Amanda also loved life's simple pleasures, like sharing a drink with friends and family and savoring the moments of togetherness.
She was a devoted supporter of her sons, never missing an opportunity to be their biggest cheerleader at their football games and wrestling matches. Family was everything to Amanda, and she had a unique ability to create bonds that felt like family wherever she went. Whether it was with her BINGO group, her colleagues at Smith's, or the staff at her favorite restaurants, Amanda's warmth and welcoming nature drew people in. Her presence was a gift, and all who knew her will deeply feel her absence. Amanda's battle with cancer began in 2018, and she approached it with unwavering faith and optimism. She traveled for treatments in New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas, holding onto hope for a cure.
Amanda is survived by her husband, Fransico J. Garcia; her sons, Xavier C. Garcia and Gabriel J. Garcia; her brother, Stephen Sinclair; her sisters, Stephanie Evariste and Jalyn Espinoza; two nephews; four nieces; six fur babies and many extended family members and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles D. Espinoza and Arlene M. Espinoza.
