Amanda Dawn "Mandy" Laymon, 32, Camden, IN, former Martinsville resident, passed from this life on Monday, February 20th, 2012 at her residence. She was born April 18, 1979 in Indianapolis, IN to Joseph Denton Casteel, Sr. of Camden, IN and Julie (Dean) Casteel of Indianapolis, IN She attended Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis and was a graduate of Indiana Business College where she received her associate's degree in business. She worked in billing for Core BTS in Indianapolis and she was a Mary Kay Consultant. On September 8th, 2007 she married Rick B. Laymon of Martinsville. She also leaves behind her loving family including her son, Caleb Brian Laymon; step son, Derrick Laymon; step daughter, Jacinda Laymon; in-laws, Roger and Rita Laymon all of Martinsville; step father, Jimmy Ottinger of Indianapolis; step mother, Jeanette Sue Casteel of Camden; step sisters, Samantha Craig and Megan Green of Illinois; three half sisters and one half brother, Della Casteel of Greenwood, Jessica Casteel of IL and Catherine Casteel and Joseph Casteel, Jr, both of Camden; grandparents, June Casteel and Truman Casteel of Indianapolis; great grandparents, Larry and Della Bayly; step grandmother, Peggy Casteel; aunts and uncles, David and Chris Casteel, Shel and Wayne Shirley, Leanne and Keith Reed, Mike and Cheryl Casteel and Michael and Linda Dean all of Indianapolis, Jeff and Barbara Casteel of Monrovia and Bryan and Charity Buchanan of Greenwood; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Thomas and Charlotte Dean and uncle, Mark Dean. Friends are invited to visit on Sunday, February 26th from 2-6 pm and Monday, February 27th one hour prior to the service at Neal & Summers Funeral & Cremation Center in Martinsville. A celebration of life service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in New South Park Cemetery in Martinsville.
