Amber Jo Myers, 48, of New Castle, Indiana, passed away on October 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 15, 1976, in Rushville, Indiana, Amber lived her life with kindness, strength, and a heart full of love for everyone around her.
Amber was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother whose family was her greatest joy.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Myers; her children, Dakota Myers and Destiny Myers; and her adored grandchildren, Hunter Myers, Harper Myers, and Hudson Myers, who brought her endless happiness. Amber is also survived by her brother, Raymond Wood, and her sister, Kristi Miller; her niece and best friend, Kinley Miller; as well as all her other amazing nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronnie and Derrith Nigh.
Amber will be remembered for her warm heart, her beautiful smile, and her ability to make everyone feel loved and cared for. She had a gentle spirit and an incredible way of bringing light and laughter wherever she went.
Family and friends are invited to come together to share memories and honor the wonderful person she was. Amber’s love and kindness will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
A celebration of Amber’s life will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday October 17, 2025, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until the time of service. You may share a memory or express a condolence for Amber at www.hinsey-brown.com.
