Amelia Doris Keasling passed away on February 11, 2025. She was born November 28, 1936 in Pikeville, Kentucky to Duran and Edith (Fife) Buckley.
She attended Pikeville High School and Pikeville College. A banker, she retired from First Tennessee Bank in Knoxville. She was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church and Pathfinders Sunday School Class. Doris was an avid reader and loved working puzzles of all kinds. She enjoyed traveling and exploring new places. She loved to play bridge and was quite the competitor. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, John C. Adkins, Robert D. Marsh, and John F. Keasling and her brother Scott Buckley.
She is survived by sons Lance K. Adkins (Rebecca) of Edgewood, NM and Alan D. Adkins (Sarah) of Nashville, TN, granddaughter Charlotte Adkins also of Nashville, TN, her sisters Orethia Miller, Patricia Elkins (Ted), Susan Patton, and brothers Roger Buckley (Wanda) and John G. Buckley (Debbie).She is also survived by step children Tom Marsh, Kelly Marsh, Julia Harkins, Arlene Diorio, and Mary M. Jackson.
If you desire, memorial contributions may be made to Susannahs House, 923 Dameron Ave. Knoxville, TN 37921, an organization to benefit women and children.
A celebration of life will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025 at Cokesbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Maynard officiating. An entombment will follow at 3PM at Highland West Memorial Park, 9913 Sherrill Blvd, Knoxville. The family will receive friends from 12:00 -1:00PM prior to the service at Cokesbury United Methodist Church, 9919 Kingston Pike, Knoxville. Click Funeral Home - Farragut Chapel. www.clickfh.com
