To you and your family I just want to express my great sorrow at your passing. I would also add that I will never sit by silently if someone tries to say that all Muslims believe in terrorism or that that there were no other Muslims killed that day. Instead I will shout your name with all the grief and outrage I can summon.
I promise to always teach my children that ALL life is scred, that ALL faiths serve God even if all people don't, and that the real test of serving God is to control ourselves not to try to control others.
I am so sorry that you are gone and I know you will be missed by those who loved you for all of their days.
I will pray that Allah watches over your family always.

You were so young, beautiful and resourceful. May Allah continue to look over your children (with the help of your family) and guide them through the years ahead.

My prayers are with Amenia and her children. May you, her mother in law, be given strength and guidance, especially as the children grow up. I was given her name from my granddaughter at her high school.

We are very sorry for your loss of Amenia. May her life and love be carried on in her children. Our hearts cry with you.

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

To Amenia's Family:

I am so sorry to read of your great loss. This is a terrible time for all of us, but I can't imagine the pain you are going through. I am ashamed that some people have blamed innocent Muslims for the terrible things done by a few people. I hope that you will find peace, and know that millions of people like me are praying for you every day. I wish I could tell you in person how sorry I am, and that I could give each of Amenia's dear children a hug. Prayer is our best comfort. I lost my father when I was a child. Prayer is what got me through it. I pray that Amenia's husband will find the strength to get through this and the strength and wisdom to raise his family as his wife wanted. God bless you all.

Assalam alaikum,

God has chosen to try these four children and your entire family with an incredible test. He has power over all and InshaAllah, He will provide your family with the patience and love that is needed. God is our best companion, especially in the difficult times. May He ease your suffering as well as that of everyone else in difficult times. ameen.

I have read that Amenia was a mother of 4 young children. I would just like to say that there are people all over the world praying for you. It doesn't matter that you are Muslims and I am a Catholic. It saddens me greatly to think of those 4 little children missing their mummy. may God give you all comfort and may we learn to live in Peace.God bless you.
