Amos Aaron Green, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Born on June 4, 1959, in Paragould, Arkansas, Amos's life was a testament to the values of kindness, hard work, and adventure.
Amos was preceded in death by his parents, Mabern Thomas and Frances Imogene Rogers Green, and his brothers, Phillip, Roger, Robert, Thomas, and Buddy Green. His life was also touched by the loss of his nephews, Jeremy, Thomas, and Brandon Green. Despite these sorrows, Amos's legacy is carried on by his loving wife, Dena Dorris Green, and their children, Amanda Green of Piggott, Derek Green of Piggott, and Jade Green of Paragould. His joy was multiplied by his grandchildren, Leland, Oliver, and the eagerly awaited Hudson Green.
Amos's memory will be cherished by his siblings, Bill and Sherry Green, Joe and Neda Green, Patricia and Terry Holt, and Libby Owens, as well as his sister-in-law, Sharon Green. His life was further enriched by numerous special nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a community of friends who will miss him dearly.
Known as a jack of all trades, Amos's work history and association involvement showcased his diverse skills and his willingness to lend a hand wherever it was needed. His interests were a reflection of his adventurous spirit; he enjoyed playing the guitar, arrowhead hunting, and embracing the great outdoors. Above all, Amos treasured spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, with whom he shared his love for life's simple pleasures.
Visitation will be held on Monday December 1, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating. Interment will be at Purcell Cemetery.
