In Loving Memory of Amy Kristin Ayers (née Slimack)

Amy Kristin Ayers was born on September 10, 1971, in Oceanside, California, to Joe and Sandy Slimack. She passed away peacefully on February 21, 2026, in Rochester, Washington, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that will be cherished by all who knew her.

Amy grew up in a loving household and later graduated from Onalaska High School. She continued her education at Whatcom County College, where she laid the foundation for her career as a Medical Assistant and Office Administrator. Throughout her professional life, Amy was known for her unwavering loyalty and honesty, qualities that endeared her to colleagues and clients alike. Her dedication to her work was evident in every task she undertook.

In 2001, Amy was united in marriage to Scott Ayers, a bond that provided her with a son, Myles, who was the light of her life. Although they later divorced in 2008, Amy's love and commitment to her family remained steadfast. She is also survived by her sister, Julie Wiseman, and numerous friends who held her dear. Amy was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Claire and Jean Sherman, who played a significant role in her upbringing.

Outside of her professional life, Amy had a profound passion for caring for animals and spent much of her free time engaged in crafting, both of which brought her immense joy. Her generous spirit left a lasting impact on those around her, and she touched countless lives with her warmth and compassion.

A memorial service to celebrate Amy's life will be announced at a later date, allowing family and friends to gather in tribute to a remarkable woman who will be dearly missed. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved, as we remember Amy for her loyalty, kindness, and abundant spirit.

As we reflect on her life, we invite those who knew Amy to honor her memory by sharing stories and treasured moments that showcase the beautiful person she was. May she rest in peace, surrounded by love.
