Amy Bowlds Obituary
Amy Nicole Bowlds, 44, of Owensboro, KY, passed away on December 21, 2025, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Owensboro on March 27, 1981, and was a 2002 graduate of Apollo High School.
She loved watching her soap operas, especially Young and the Restless and General Hospital, watching movies on TV and also NASCAR, Dale Jr. being her favorite. Amy had a great sense of humor and a wonderful laugh that you could even see a sparkle in her eyes. She also enjoyed BBQ, cooking out, especially ribs, and drinking her Dr. Pepper’s.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert (Joy) Bowlds, Alyce Goetz, Colleen Remole, and Earl Remole.
Amy is survived by her parents, Garry (Joy) Bowlds; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; a grandmother, Vicki Cowan; and other extended family.
The funeral service for Amy will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Dr. Dennis McFadden officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3 until 7 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner’s Children’s Lexington, 110 Conn Terrace Lexington, KY 40508.
