Audrey Swider and family

I am so shocked and saddened to hear about Amy's passing. She and I were friends since elementary school, and spent time together in PA when I lived there as well. Amy was always such a strong woman, had the best sense of humor, and had an enormous heart. My heart goes out to you, John and little Vinnie. Amy, you will be truly missed by so many.

Celebrating the life today of my dear high school friend Amy Rosalind. I couldn't be there for your arrangements but I'm wearing a peacock shirt for you and I donated to the animal shelter in your name. You were such an amazing friend to me. I can never thank and repay all the kindnesses you have given me throughout the years. Your matchmaking skills were responsible for my first date and first kiss growing up. We shared more than our share of musicals, plays and vocal ensembles together. I have so many wonderful memories of the lovely person that you were. So full of life, courage and optimism. You were one of a kind and I'm going to miss the hell out of you. You have a sister Amy but I don't. You are the closest thing to a sister that I will ever have. The world is dimmer with your absence.
Thank you Amy. For being my friend and growing up with me. Thank you for your guidance, your patience, your laughter and most of all your love.
Goodbye my friend. Gone, but never forgotten in the hearts of those you touched.
Yours always
