Amy Fowler Granato, 56, of Princeton, NJ, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on January 13, 2026, after a courageous six-year battle with cancer. Born on December 22, 1969, to Janne Parker Fowler, and the late Jared Pogson "Jerry" Fowler of Pennington, NJ, Amy lived a life defined by optimism, kindness, and an unshakable zest for life. With her radiant spirit, infectious smile and positive attitude, Amy brought warmth and light to everyone who knew her.

Amy is survived by her mother Janne, husband James Richard "Rick" Granato Jr., children James Richard "Jamie" Granato III of New York City, and Charlotte Case Granato of Princeton, father-in-law James Richard Granato Sr. of Princeton, sister Julie Fowler (David Viklund) and nephew, Jack, of New Canaan, CT, and her extended family. She was predeceased by her father, Jerry, and mother-in-law Carol Granato.

A highly respected and dedicated global real estate advisor with Callaway Henderson Sotheby's International Realty in Princeton, Amy was recognized for her innate understanding of her client's needs, her expertise of the market and unwavering professionalism. Her many industry accolades over her successful 14 year career included numerous NJAR Circle of Excellence Awards and the NJ REALTORS Distinguished Sales Club Award. Prior to real estate, Amy led a distinguished professional life in Manhattan as a Senior Recruiter for Impact Recruiting, currently known as CitiStaffing, which she was pivotal in helping to form. Much loved by her colleagues and candidates alike for over 15 years, Amy held some of the firm's largest aaccounts including Goldman Sachs, Bristol Myers Squibb and many New York-based advertising agencies.

Beyond her career, Amy was selflessly committed to community service and volunteerism, supporting a multitude of Princeton-area organizations such as McCarter Theatre Contemporaries, Trinity Counseling Service, the Hopewell Elementary PTO, the Pennington School and Princeton Day School. She was a beloved member of many clubs including the Stony Brook Garden Club, where she was the recipient of a multitude of awards for excellence including First Place for her first-ever submission. She was a years-long member of the Bedens Brook Club, the Nassau Club, and her neighborhood Book Club, of which she was an enthusiastic participant. Amy was renowned for her ability to connect others to her ever-growing large circle of devoted friends, for her generous hospitality and her legendary Thanksgiving gatherings for large groups of adoring family and friends. Above all else, Amy was a devoted mother to her children Jamie and Charlotte, who were a constant source of pride, joy, and love throughout her life, and will remain a central part of her enduring legacy.

A celebration of Amy's life will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Church, 33 Mercer Street, Princeton, NJ. Amy's bright smile and indomitable spirit will continue to inspire the many who were lucky enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but will live in the hearts of all those that loved her forever.
