Amy Colista Hames Jackson, 45, of Asheboro, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025 at her residence.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Ridge Funeral Home.
Amy was born in Goldsboro, NC, on March 11, 1980. She was a hard worker and loved reading in her spare time. Paranormal and mystery novels were her favorites. She also enjoyed watching cooking shows. Amy dedicated her life to taking care of her children.
Amy was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Robert Jefferson Hames and William Glenn Mewborn, and grandmother, Gaynelle Mewborn.
Survivors include her daughters, Arianna Rose Jackson, Cheyenne Alison McDowell; son, Alexander Michael Greenfield; parents, Steve and Debbie Hames; father of middle child, Jerry Lee Jackson; and grandmother, Donsy Ingold Hames.
