Amy Kellerman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Alexandria Funeral Home on Jul. 16, 2024.
Amy Jo Kellerman (nee. Mulloy), 57, of Lakeside Park, passed away on Friday, July 12th at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood. She was a retired Special Education Teacher at Woodland Middle School, and a retired Special Needs Substitute Teacher at Dixie Heights High School. She held a Bachelor's of Social Work, and wished to obtain a Masters of Social Work from The University of Louisville. Amy is preceded in death by her mother, Pamela Joyce Mulloy (nee. Carson). She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, David Kellerman; son, Jonathan (Jennifer) Kellerman; daughter, Lauren Kellerman; 2 grandchildren, Isaac and Evelyn Kellerman; sister, Heather (Billy) Gramann; sister, Jennifer Trauth; best friend, Julie Quinn (Brian) and father, Harold Gordon Mulloy (Cheryl). Amy lived her life to make other people happy, and that is what made her happy. She enjoyed holding parties for people she loved in which she spent months preparing and perfecting, she enjoyed listening to John Denver on her screened in porch on a sunny day, and she enjoyed gardening and being with nature because it reminded her of her mother. She enjoyed caring for her loving husband and daughter, and spending time with the people she loved the most. She loved to send themed monthly packages to her grandkids and enjoyed watching them open the gifts. Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 19th, 2024 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the family's home located at 26 Arcadia Avenue, Lakeside Park, KY 41017. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to United Christian Volunteers, 15 Kenton St, Elsmere, KY 41018. Alexandria Funeral Home is serving the family.
