Amy A. Long (Johnson), formerly of Plainville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis "Frank" Long.

Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts, on July 21, 1930, Amy was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth (Mohr) Johnson. She worked for many years as a billing clerk before retiring. Amy's coworkers remembered her for her diligence and kindness.

Amy's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her loving son, Dr. Gary F. Long, and his wife, Jean A. Austin-Long of Chesapeake, Virginia, along with many cherished cousins. She was the step-grandmother of the late Thomas A. White and Sherri L. Wright.

She was also the devoted sister of the late Louise W. Baumgartel, Florence Paille, Dorothy Radnor, Raymond Johnson, Roy Johnson, and Barbara Watson.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her devotion to family, and the warmth she brought to those around her. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Her funeral and burial will be private.
