It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Amy Love, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world on September 24, 2025, in Fort Walton Beach. Born on January 5, 1959, in Orlando, Amy lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Throughout her 66 years, she touched the lives of many and leaves behind a legacy of kindness and warmth.
Amy was the daughter of Charlie Sasser and Salinia Sasser, and she was preceded in death by her devoted parents and her brother, James Sasser. Despite her loss, Amy's spirit was one of resilience and love, traits she instilled in her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, James Love, who was her partner in life and her greatest support. Together they raised two wonderful children: Mikey Love (and spouse Tiffany Love) and Tiffany Cadogan (and spouse Mick Cadogan), both of whom carry on her spirit and values. Amy was not only a mother but a proud grandmother to Jimmy Love, Levi Love, and Hope Love, who brought immense joy to her life. In addition to her immediate family, Amy is survived by her brothers, Danny and Walt Sasser, and her chosen sister, Earline VanWinkle, who stood by her side through thick and thin. She will also be remembered fondly by her eight nieces and nephews, as well as her 15 great-nieces and nephews, who each held a special place in her heart.
Before retiring, Amy dedicated her time as a bus driver, a role that illustrated her caring nature and commitment to her community. She was a proud member of the Assembly of God, where she found solace and a sense of belonging among her church family. Amy had many hobbies that brought her joy, including tending to her beloved house plants and caring for her chickens. She found peace at the beach, where she often spent time soaking in the sun and the beauty of nature.
This gathering will be an opportunity to share stories, reminisce about the joyful moments spent with Amy, and honor her memory as the loving and vibrant person she was.
