Torie "Jolea" Powell, 21, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on October 2nd, 2025.
She was born in Louisville on February 16, 2004 to Lisa R. Powell and William P. Powell, Jr.
Jolea is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Catherine Wiley.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Lisa R. Powell; father, William P. Powell, Jr. (Charmaine); maternal grandparents, Joseph Wiley and Vernita Wiley; paternal grandparents, William P. Powell, Sr. and Linda Powell; paternal great grandmother, Rosa Boone; siblings, Caitlin Powell, Lacey Alexander (Aaron), and Ledger Powell; nephew, Abel Alexander; uncles, Louis Powell (Nicole) and Victor Powell (Allynn); aunt, Sonya Strasser (Eric); and a host of cousins and extended family members.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Newcomer, East Louisville Chapel located at 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243. A service to celebrate Jolea's life will follow at 2:00 pm that day at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jolea's memory may be made to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Kentuckiana.
