Amy Briana Pressey age 28 of Cleveland MS formerly of Williamsburg, VA passed away Friday September 8, 2023 in Cleveland, MS.
Amy was born July 25, 1995 to Brian Anthony Pressey and Andrea Kimberly Amy-Pressey in Williamsburg VA. She graduated Jamestown High School and has a BS in Biology and Anthropology from University of Virginia, and was currently working on her Masters in Counseling at Delta State University. Amy was a beautiful young woman who loved to be around people. She was an excellent singer and enjoyed her time on the praise team at Calvary Baptist Church, and Renovate Church in Cleveland. Upon moving here with Teach for America, she accepted a teaching a position with the Cleveland School District and was formerly a manager of Zoe Coffee, she volunteered with the Women's Resource Center of Cleveland/ Bolivar County. Amy was a joy to be around and will forever be in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Amy loved the Lord, and she is safe in the Master's arms forever.Amy was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, and maternal grandparents.
She is survived by her Father Brian Anthony Pressey and Mother Andrea Kimberly Amy Pressey of Williamsburg, VA, brothers: Brian Anthony Pressey, Jr.(Sidne) of Newport News, VA, Thomas Chamberlain Pressey of Williamsburg, VA and a nephew Bricen Weston Pressey. She also leaves a host of other family and friends to cherish her memory.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Cleveland Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Memorial service will follow at 6:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church in Cleveland, MS.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Whitings Funeral Home in Williamsburg, Va at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Cleveland Funeral Home has been entrusted with the service arrangements.
