We are deeply saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Mr. Nguyen, Ba-An. Born on June 5, 1933, in the northern province of Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen passed away peacefully with his son by his side on December 4, 2025, at 3:19 PM in Orlando, Florida. He was 92 years old.
Mr. Nguyen attended the prestigious National Finance School (Quoc Gia Hanh Chanh) in Vietnam and had a distinguished career working in multiple government posts in South Vietnam before 1975. Following the fall of South Vietnam on April 30, 1975, he resettled in Pennsylvania, USA, in 1979, where he dedicated his career to social work until his retirement.
He was married to Tran-Ngo, Thi Loc, who preceded him in death on July 28, 2007, in Pennsylvania, at the age of 73. Mr. Nguyen is survived by his only son, Dr. Tuan Nguyen, a physiatry physician, and his daughter-in-law, Dr. Vanthanh Ly, a pulmonary, critical care, and sleep physician. He also leaves behind two beloved granddaughters, Ava Nguyen and Mia Nguyen, who are currently eighth-grade students in middle school, as well as extended family members in California, Pennsylvania, and Vietnam.
In his leisure time, Mr. Nguyen enjoyed traveling, food, swimming, dancing, and engaging in social activities with friends and family. He lived a good and happy life, filled with love and joy up until his passing. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
May Mr. Nguyen rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who were fortunate to know him.
