It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ana Lea "Sally" Cancio a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, who went to be with the Lord on September 18, 2025. Though our hearts ache with her absence, we celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the lasting impact she made on everyone who knew her.
Born on June 25, 1991 in Deming, New Mexico, Ana Lea brought light into the world with her warm smile, generous heart, and unshakable strength. She was a woman of resilience and fierce love, always ready to comfort those around her. Ana Lea had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and cherished.
She will be remembered for her infectious laughter, her honest conversations, and her ability to find beauty even in life's hardest moments. Her presence was a gift, her wisdom extended far beyond her years, and her legacy will continue to live on in the lives she touched.
Ana Lea is survived by her parents, Fausto and Nellie Cancio; her brother, Jose Cancio; a niece & nephew Aaliya Jordan & Joseph Cancio. She also leaves behind a host of family members, friends, and loved ones who will miss her dearly. Though we mourn her passing, we rejoice in knowing she is now at peace, embraced in the arms of our Father. Her memory will continue to live on through the love she gave, the lives she changed, and the memories we hold close. Rest in love, Ana Lea "Sally" Cancio. You are deeply missed and Forever cherished.
Visitation will be Friday, October 3rd from 10:30-11am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The holy rosary will follow at 11am with Carlos Bejarano reciting. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11;30am with Father Jude Okonkwo officiating. Concluding service she will be laid to rest at Shakespeare cemetery. Pallbearers are Santos Beltran, Carlos Martinez Jose Cancio, Jordan Cancio, Joseph Garcia, and Adam Fierro. All who knew and loved Sally are welcome to attend and honor her memory.
