El matrimonio de 55 años de Anita fue con Marcos Cervantes. Él la precedió en la muerte en 2018.
Era ama de casa y feligresa de la Iglesia Católica St. John the Baptist en México.
Anita disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su familia y hacer cosas por ellos.
Le sobreviven sus hijos Marcos, Ruben, Consuelo, Jorge, Esmeralda, Dolores, Jaime, Lourdes, Maria Guadalupe, Celina y Mario Alberto Cervantes Puentes; sus hermanos, Selerina, Juanita, Salvador, Jesus y Celina Puentes Hernandez; sus 29 nietos; y sus 19 bisnietos.
Le precedieron en la muerte su hijo Rubén y sus hermanos Cresenciana, José, Pedro, Juan, Nicolás y Refujio Puentes Hernández.
El velorio se realizará el jueves 22 de junio de 2023 de 11:00 a.m. a las 2:30 p.m. en la Iglesia Católica del Santísimo Sacramento seguida de una Misa de Cristiana Sepultura a las 3 p.m. con el Padre Dudzinski y el Padre Martin oficiando. El entierro será en Tepechitlán, Zacatecas, México.
