Ana Leticia Stable, age 80, of Ocala, Florida, passed away peacefully at Grace Davis Hall House in Ocala on December 30, 2025. She was born on April 23, 1945 in Santiago de Cuba, daughter of Dr. Arturo and Leticia Stable.
Arriving in 1962 from Cuba, Ocala became home for the rest of her life and was a proud resident. She retired from the Marion County School system as an ESOL Paraprofessional, helping countless children in the community learn English with her native Spanish skills. Ana loved the beach and cherished her memories of living in Cuba while it was still free.
She is preceded by her parents; Dr. Arturo & Leticia Stable of Ocala.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory; son, Arthur Lavely of Ocala, sister; Maria Raftis of Ocala, brother in law; Pat Raftis of Ocala, niece; Robyn Raftis Skelton of Ocala, and nephew; Douglas Raftis of Jacksonville.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 31st, 2026 at 1PM, Countryside Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
