Anamaria Paraschiv

Anamaria Paraschiv, 47, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026. Born in Romania, she was the daughter of Maryann Kennedy, the late Gheorghe Paraschiv, and step father Dorel Vasvari. She was the devoted and loving mother of Gianna Poles, who was the center of her world.

Anamaria was a member of St. Andrew Romanian Orthodox Church, where her faith and Romanian heritage remained an important part of her life.

She had a natural ability to bring people together and make a house feel like home. Anamaria loved cooking for the people she cared about and was especially known for her baked macaroni and cheese, a dish family and friends often requested and always looked forward to. Her home was often filled with laughter, good food, and the people she loved most.

Anamaria also had a passion for fashion and decorating. She embraced what she lovingly called her “bougie” style and had a special eye for beautiful decor, especially anything gold. Her home reflected her personality, warm, elegant, and thoughtfully put together. She was rarely without her signature perfume and took pride in always looking her best.

She was also a dedicated fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and loved cheering them on, sharing that excitement with friends and family during football season.

Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Raluca Paraschiv; her nieces, Ariana and Avonnie Paraschiv; her uncle, Tavi Nistor; her cousins, Matthew and Michael Nistor; and her beloved cat, Coco Chanelly, who all brought her so much happiness.

In heaven, she will be reunited with her grandparents, to which she had a special connection, Maria and Loan Nistor.

Services will be private
