Anarella Alvarez Perez, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on November 9, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Born on January 6, 1972, in Miguel Aleman Tamaulipas, Anarella filled the lives of those around her with warmth, love, and compassion. She embraced her dual roles as a Dietary Aid and devoted family member with grace and enthusiasm, fostering a life dedicated to nurturing both body and spirit.
Anarella's journey was marked by her profound love for cooking, a passion that not only brought delight to her family but also served as a medium of connection with others. Whether it was during festive gatherings at Thanksgiving and Christmas or simple weekday dinners, her culinary creations brought everyone together. Her heart found joy in gardening, where she nurtured not just plants but also her relationships, cultivating a blooming environment for her children and grandchildren.
At the core of Anarella's life was her faith and her unwavering connection to God. She was an active member of Life Tabernacle on Broadway St., where she developed cherished friendships and touched countless lives through her genuine spirit. Anarella's dedication to her faith inspired all her children and her husband, Osbaldo Enrique Perez, to be baptized at Life Church. Her prayers were a daily occurrence, as she fervently sought blessings for her family and extended her prayers to others with sincerity and love.
Her proudest accomplishments were rooted in the legacy she nurtured with her family. She was a shining example of love and strength, teaching her children and grandchildren about responsibility, kindness, and the importance of faith. The laughter and smiles shared with her children—Mathew, Adrian, Julio, Veronika, Isaac, Jesse, and Kelly—and her grandchildren—Chloe, Aliyah, Maximus, Marie, Julio JR, Ismael, Sofia, Elijah, and Isaac Jr—are testaments to a life well-lived and a heart overflowing with joy.
Anarella's personality shone brightest in the quiet moments spent at home, where she created a haven filled with love and laughter. She often would be found swimming in her pool, embracing the sun's warmth, or listening to worship music that resonated with her soul. Her vivacity and gentle spirit will forever echo in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Osbaldo; her parents, Gloria Leal Rivera and Leonidez Alvarez; her siblings, Jose Alvarez, Leonidez Alvarez, and Miriam Alvarez; as well as her devoted children and grandchildren. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit in their hearts, a reminder of the indelible mark she has left on their lives.
Anarella's visitation will take place on November 18, 2025, at Integrity Funeral Home in Houston, TX, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and again from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Following her visitation, she will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 2:30 PM.
As we celebrate the life of Anarella Alvarez Perez, let us honor her memory by embracing her legacy of faith, love, and familial devotion. She will forever be missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
