Anastassiya Y. Shvilko, born on February 23, 1995, in Kazakhstan, passed away on February 26, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Ana, as she was fondly known, dedicated her life to being a Child Services Investigator with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS). This role was not just a job for her; it was a vocation through which she demonstrated her compassionate spirit and unwavering commitment to the welfare of children. As a result, her coworkers became like family, sharing in both the challenges and triumphs that come with such responsible work. Ana’s colleagues admired her heartfelt dedication and deep-rooted sense of justice, recognizing her as a respected and cherished member of their team.

She earned her Master of Psychology from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Those who encountered Ana were always touched by her beauty, kindness, and generous spirit. She was known for never having met a stranger, greeting everyone with warmth and openness. Ana possessed a sensitive heart, and her gentle nature left a lasting impression on everyone around her. Many will fondly remember her for her vibrant personality and the love she shared with those in her life.

Anastassiya shared a special bond with her mother, Lyudmila Rule of Newkirk, Oklahoma. Together, they proudly became United States citizens in June of 2016, marking a significant milestone in their journey. Additionally, Ana is survived by her brother, Aleksei Lokhman of Kazakhstan, and her two beloved nieces, Polina and Vera, her circle of friends, including Gordon Rule, Gerri Harris, Loya Randal, Jana Schaffer, Kim Shanks, Gale and Dale Eisenhaur, Emily, Melanie, Sue Roy, Neal Gardner, Mellanie and Jerry Le Baron, Denise and Robert Schupe, along with her special supervisor Jennifer, who was not only her supervisor, but was considered her family.

Ana had a passion for life that extended beyond her professional accomplishments. She cherished her hobbies, which included traveling, a love for red roses, and spending time with family and friends who meant so much to her. Each friend remembers Ana for her generosity of spirit and the warmth she brought into their lives.
