Andre Kocher Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by North Dallas Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Dec. 24, 2025.
Andre' S Kocher, age 60, of Lewisville, Texas, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025 while doing what he loved - cycling with his Frisco Triathlon Club teammates.
Andre' was born on November 22, 1965 in Norfolk, Virginia to parents Larry Kocher and Rae Ann Stutzman. While growing up, Andre' and his family lived in several states due to his father's service in the military and job transfers. They settled in Gallatin, Tennessee in 1980 where Andre' soon met Kelli. The two became high school sweethearts and were married on March 18, 1983. Andre' got saved and was baptized soon after they were married. They graduated together in 1984, both with honors and in the top 30 of their high school class. Andre' graduated from David Lipscomb University in 1988 with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. He earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 1991. He soon took a position with Peterbilt Motors in Nashville, Tennessee. In 1993, Andre', Kelli and their 2 young sons were given the opportunity to transfer with Peterbilt to Denton, Texas – and off they went!
In 2004, Andre' and Kelli decided to leave the corporate world. They both got their real estate license within weeks of each other. Their accounting backgrounds combined with their desire to serve people set them up for success as The Kocher Team. In 2005, they were selected as one of Dave Ramsey's Endorsed Local Real Estate Providers. This was a monumental turning point in their joint career, and Andre went on to become a highly respected top-producing Ramsey Real Estate Trusted Pro. Their real estate business grew year after year and in 2012, they began adding agents to their team. Today, The Kocher Team consists of 16 valued members including their son Patrick and daughter in law Tiffany. Andre' was also the broker and co-owner of OneTree Property Management.
2012 was a big year with Andre' and Kelli becoming more dedicated to health and fitness. Andre' really enjoyed swimming, biking and running. His competitive journey included marathons, multiple triathlons and ultimately he completed 9 full IRONMAN distance triathlons! He had already registered for 3 more IRONMAN races in 2026 in order to qualify and achieve his dream goal of going to Kona, Hawaii to participate in the IRONMAN World Championship.
Andre' attended and was a member of the First Baptist Church at The Fields in Carrollon, Texas.
Andre's legacy lives on through his family, his mentees, and the countless lives he touched. He will be greatly missed!
Andre' is survived by his wife of nearly 43 years, Kelli, son Kyle (Heather) of Gallatin, Tennessee, son Patrick (Tiffany) of Carrollton, Texas, 5 grandchildren - Caden, Chase, Brinley, Addison and Riley, brother Theron (Cindy) of Portland, Tennessee and their children Ryan, Jake, Chelsea, Braxton and Marley. He was preceded in death by his father Larry Kocher and mother Rae Ann Stutzman.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 11:00a at First Baptist Church at The Fields in Carrollton, Texas. Visitation with the family will begin at 9:00a.
In lieu of flowers, a special Scholarship Fund/Foundation for Ironman Triathletes will be formed with details announced soon.
