I'm sad to hear about Andre. I graduated with him in 1972 and was a teammate. He was a friend to all! Condolences to his family.

My cousin Andre Pearson was a very powerful, faithful family man. I remember when family and friends gathered at cookouts
at Phillip and Sandra Hill's home in East Brunswick, NJ many decades ago. Andre was usually there talking with friends and family
and helping out with the cookout. He had a servant spirit and was a leader in his community and with his family!

I was a member of Risen Son Baptist church for several years, and had the pleasure of knowing Reverend Andre Pearson. My prayer is for God's peace to embrace and comfort the family from this day forward. Andre was a good man but most importantly he was a Christian. I will miss him.

I have so many fond memories of Brother Andre Pearson that it would be impossible to share each of them. I knew Brother Andre, wife and daughters while attending South-side Baptist/Risen Son Baptist Church. Brother Andre was a very pleasant and funny man who loved the Lord with all of his heart. I knew him as a man who loved his wife and daughters and was one of the most amazing dads I have ever known. He treasured each of his daughters and was a great example of a loving and caring dad.
One of the precious memories of Andre that I want to share is the day he called me "Peaches." I was coming down the church stairs leading to the basement and before I got to the last step, Brother Andre called out, "Hey Peaches!!" I laughed and said, "No one has ever called me that in my life." He told me that I reminded him of someone he knew growing up.I never forgot that and have shared this with my husband who now at times calls me "Peaches." It saddens my heart to hear of his passing today, but I know Brother Andre is resting in the arms of Jesus and celebrates life eternal with Jesus.
Our prayers and condolences to Brother Andra's family and church family at this very difficult time. Please be encouraged that the Lord is with you and will strengthen you with His peace, love and grace. God bless you.

Sorry to hear of Andre's passing. He was always the life of the party and he made sure everyone was having a good time. May this be just one memory of Andre's life. Blessings to Gina, her daughters and their families.

My name is Jim O'Toole. Andre was a lifelong friend. We graduated from South River HS class of 1972, played basketball together and remained friends well beyond. He was no stranger in my home and loved by my parents and siblings alike. I was always welcome at the Pearson home. The lone exception was when I showed up with beer. Mrs Minnie Pearson, a wonderful woman, did not approve. That didn't stop her from feeding me. I was truly honored to know Andre, call him a friend, and see the great family man and person of faith he became. Rest in peace my friend. Thank you for great memories and lotsa laughs. You left your mark. I will miss you always. Pearse, you were one of a kind. God speed to a good man.
