Andrea Chorney Obituary

Odessa, Texas - Andrea Louise Pradon Chorney passed away peacefully on Oct 22, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Andrea Louise Chorney was born in Horseheads, NY on July 10, 1947, to John Pradon and Helene Droleski Pradon. She graduated from Thomas A. Edison High School in 1965. Andrea married the love of her life, Walter "Skip" Chorney on May 9, 1970.

Andrea loved being a military wife and they welcomed their daughters in Ft. Dix, NJ, then moved to Ft. Lee, VA. They were then assigned to Ft. Carson, CO where they welcomed their twin sons. They were later assigned to Wiesbaden, Germany. Upon retiring from military services, Skip and Andrea moved their family to Odessa, TX. Andrea enjoyed being a homemaker until discovering her calling into the world of Avon where she excelled and achieved numerous awards as a sales representative, sales manager and district sales manager. Her most valuable achievment was her awesome marriage and her four children, Kristine, Jessica, Benjamin and Kevin.

Andrea was a longtime member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church where she actively worshiped. Andrea was known for her vivacious, outgoing personality and she NEVER met a stranger! She loved fiercely and was a "fur-vent" animal lover. She was a devoted Grandma who shared her faith passionately.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Skip, her parents, John and Helene Pradon, daughter Jessica Wilson, and granddaughter Katherine Chorney.

Andrea is survived by daughter Kristine Tonge (Walt), Benjamin Chorney (Rebecca), Kevin Chorney (Tammy), grandchildren Zach Brookshire (Ashley), Jacob Brookshire, Danielle Singleton, Brittany Chorney, Meghan Chorney, Tanner and Andy Wilson, Rylan and Kolson Chorney and Brooks Tonge, great-grandchildren Emersyn Singleton, Nolan and Miles Brookshire, brother John Pradon, Horseheads, NY, sister-in-law Lorraine Chorney, Elmira, NY, brother-in-law Robert Chorney, Elmira, NY, cousins Danny Pradon (Bobbi), Donny Pradon (Suzette), Darryl Pradon (Carla). Also, special friends Suzette Pradon, Marla Brown, Jane Seward and Vicki Detiveaux.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, October 29, 2025, with Celebration of the Rosary at 6:30 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 1:30 PM. at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with Father Francis Oneykozuru celebrating.
