Andrea Carol Wright, born on July 2, 1968, in St. Andrew, Jamaica, passed away on October 2, 2025, at Broward Health North Hospital after a valiant fight with cancer lasting over two and a quarter years. Andrea's journey through life was marked by strength, grace, and an unwavering spirit, traits that guided her through her illness and comforted those who loved her.
As we mourn the loss of our dearly beloved Andrea, we take solace in knowing that she is now free from the pain that had afflicted her for so long. As written in her own words, she is now in a place where there are "no more bad days and no more pain." The warmth of her personality and her deep compassion for others will be cherished in the hearts of all who knew her.
Events honoring Andrea's life and legacy will be as follows:
Visitation: October 17, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM T.M. Ralph Funeral Home Sawgrass/Weston, located at 371 NW 136th Ave, Sunrise, Florida. This will include a time for tributes from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Burial: October 18, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Lauderdale Memorial Park, situated at 2001 SW 4th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Celebration of Life Service: October 18 at 1:00 PM. This will be at the First Baptist Church at Weston, 1420 Indian Trace, Weston FL, 33326.
Andrea is deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. By God's grace, we hold onto the hope of reuniting with her in glory.
