Andree Marie Nelson born February 5, 1944 in Bordeaux, France, passed away with her family by her side on January 14, 2022. Andree was a 58-year resident of Las Vegas who worked in the gaming industry for over 40 years retiring from The Orleans in 2010. She is preceded in death by her parents George André Tarnac and Marie Marcelin Tarnac, sister Geraldine McDaniel, brother Daniel Marcelin, godson David Lislaud and granddaughter Julie Ridge. She is survived by her life partner Don; children Vicky Nolen and Robert (Lisa) Nolen of Las Vegas and Sherry (Randy) Ridge of McHenry, IL; grandchildren Kristen Nolen, Kyle Nolen, Crystal Miller-Nolen, Andrea Nolen and Madison Nolen all of Las Vegas; Alexander Mikrut of Texas, John Mikrut, Greg (Ashley) Ridge and Scott Ridge all of Illinois; great grandchildren Dallas Nolen, Jackson Ridge, Quinn Mikrut and Julianna Nolen; Siblings Guy Marcelin, Laurette Lislaud, Claudie Marcelin and Marilyne (Henri) Fernandez, brother in law Farrell McDaniel; and many nieces and nephews whom she adored.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening, cooking, being with her family, and during her retirement spending her summers in McHenry, Illinois; her final 5 years were spent doting on her great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held January 29, 2022 12-2 p.m. at LaPaloma, 2551 S. Ft. Apache Rd, Las Vegas.
