Rene was my clinical instructor during my PTA clinical rotation at Regency almost 15 years ago. What impacted me most about him was the compassion he showed to even the most cantankerous patients. He was a model of how every healthcare worker should treat their patients. I´m sure his compassion toward others carried over into other parts of his life and that he will be sorely missed.

Spending 3 years of PT School together grew our friendship that lasted beyond 1988. We will miss your easy smile, humor, and words of encouragement. May the love of family and friends comfort Kathy and family.

I knew Renee from a distance while growing up and going to school with his brother Hans and sister Sylvia. The first time I actually spent time with him was a few years ago when I visited him and Kathy ( whom I went to grade school with). Renee impressed me as a kind man who loved my friend dearly. The world is a little bit colder without him in it.
