A Time to be Born and a Time to Die...
On December 31, 1944, a baby boy was born. His parents were the late Andrew Johnson, Sr. and Della Platt. He was given the name Andrew Johnson, Jr.. On Saturday, May 24, 2025, he saw the ship dock and as he stepped on board, he heard the Master say, "My good and faithful servant WELL DONE. It is time to rest from your labor. You've fought a good fight." He gently closed his precious eyes, and he whispered, "Peace be still."
A Time to Plant and a Time to Harvest...
Andrew spiritual journey began at Greater Saint Mark Baptist Church by the late Reverend W. L. Washington, where he received his religious faith as a Baptist. Later in life he became a member of New Zion Baptist Church serving faithful until closing under the leadership of Reverend Lee Edward Gage. Presently he was an active member of the Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church serving under the leadership of Reverend Vernon Simon. He was educated in the Pointe Coupee Parish School System.
