Obituary of Andrew Malochleb
Andrew Malochleb, 55, of Milford, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly on December 6, 2024, surrounded by his wife and friends whom he deeply loved. Born on January 13, 1969, in Garfield, New Jersey, Andrew was the cherished son of Mildred Elizabeth (Liz) Malochleb and the late Andrew Paul Malochleb.
Andrew graduated from Garfield High School in 1987 and went on to build a remarkable life filled with love, family, and music. On June 11, 2005, he married the love of his life, Traci Stuve, with whom he shared an incredible partnership. Together, they raised two beloved children, Garet and Julia, who were his pride and joy. Andy was a devoted father and husband, never missing a moment to show his love and gratitude for his family. His unwavering commitment to putting his family first will remain a guiding example for all who knew him.
Professionally, Andy, was the Owner of ASM Communications, a business he started and ran for over 20 years. Within the communications industry his dedication and expertise were highly valued. To friends and clients, Andy was affectionately known as "the phone guy" for his enthusiasm and deep knowledge of telephone systems. Outside of work, he was a man of many talents: a skilled handyman, sushi chef, bass player, and sound engineer. Andy's passion for music made him a sought-after bass player and audio engineer for some of New Jersey's most prominent bands. A dedicated friend to many, he brought joy, laughter, and his unique talents to every relationship.
Andrew is survived by his loving wife, Traci, and his adored children, Garet Stuve and Julia Stuve; his mother, Liz Malochleb; mother- and father-in-law Barbara and William Stuve, sister-in-law Amy Mathias, brother-in-law Virgil Mathias, sister-in-law Karie Kiener and brother-in-law Andrew Kiener; niece Hanna Beckstrom (Ryan), nephew Evan Mathias (Kaylee), niece Ella Kiener, nephew Seven Kiener, and many dear friends and extended family members who will forever cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Paul Malochleb and by an infant son Thomas John Malochleb Stuve.
Friends and family are welcome to gather to honor Andrew's life on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 8:00pm, with words of remembrance beginning at 7:30pm at Martin Funeral Home located at 1761 Route 31 Clinton, New Jersey, 08809. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Branching Out Foundation located in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. Branching Out Foundation is committed to providing advocacy, support groups, and socializing events that empower children with special needs and their families.
Andrew's love, kindness, and remarkable talents will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy is one of devotion to his family, passion for his work, and an enduring love of life.
