Andrew Lansing Miller

Andrew Lansing Miller, 58, of Ansted, WV, passed peacefully in his sleep on November 9'", 2025. Andrew was a graduate of Midland Trail High School. He was a dedicated member of Lovers Leap Baptist Church. Andrew worked for several years at A&W Sanitation and, more recently, was an employee at Whitecap Waste.
Andrew was known for serving the youth of the community through leading in youth ministry at Sunday Road Baptist Church, Lovers Leap Baptist Church, Camp Cowen, and the West Virginia Baptist Association. He made a lasting impression on so many lives through his ministry. Andrew was one of a kind and knew how to make the youth, and adults, feel like it was okay to be themselves. Andrew spent many years coaching the girls' soccer league at Midland Trail High School where he formed relationships that lasted even after the students grew into adulthood. He loved the beach, pro-wrestling, rock and roll, the Georgia Bulldogs, Pepsi, family, and his friends. Andrew is preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin and Leona Jordan, and Floyd and Bertha Miller, and parents, Jack and Sandra Miller. His surviving family includes his brother, Gary Miller, nephews, Joshua (Kellie) Miller and Jackson Miller, nieces, Taylor (Kevin) Elder and Lanie Miller, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
If you knew him, you knew that Andrew loved the Lord. Because of his faith, we know that he closed his eyes on earth and woke up in the arms of Jesus. There will be a memorial service held on Sunday, November 16"', 2025, at 2:00PM, at Lovers Leap Baptist Church in his honor.
