Andrew Blaine Moss, 22, a resident of Columbia, tragically passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022.
Andrew was born on May 22, 2000, in Columbia, the son of David Paul Moss and Jeanna Kay Pollard Moss.
Andrew was very playful, goofy and sometimes stubborn guy who had a huge love for cars. He was not only a fan of vehicles, but he also had a collection of model cars. Andrew was always motivated to help those who were in need, and people that knew him knew of this kindness and was recipient of it. Andrew's smile would brighten any room that he walked into, and he always had a way of making you feel like you were enough. Family was very important to Andrew; he was very protective of his family and always cherished the time he was able to spend with them. Andrew wasn't always the type to show his love outwardly, but when he did show his affection, it would be in a different way, Andrew's way, by doing random acts of kindness for others.
He will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his parents, David Moss of Columbia, and Jeanna Pollard Moss of Warrenton; his twin brother, Justin Moss of Harrisburg; his sister, Kayla Moss of St. Louis; maternal grandmother, Mary Jean Pollard of Warrenton.
Andrew was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather, Lawrence Dale Pollard.
A celebration of Andrew's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Parkade Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Cook officiating. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service and following the services Andrew will be laid to rest in the Columbia Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family, c/o Bach-Yager Funeral Chapel 1610 N. Garth Ave., Columbia, Missouri 65202.
Bach-Yager Funeral Home is honored to help the Moss Family.
