Andrew M. Mueller passed away at home January 5, 2010. He was 92. He was born March 15, 1917 in Conrad Montana. He lived his entire life in the Camas/Washougal area. He married the love of his life, Colleen on September 13, 1952. They raised 5 children and 3 foster children. Andrew served in the Army and was discharged in 1945. He worked at Crown Zellerbach for 37 years as a machine tender and retired in 1981. He was always eager to help no matter family or friend. One of his passions was cutting wood, which turned into quite a job. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and attended St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Many summer vacations were spent visiting family all over the United States. Camping was enjoyed by the whole family. He was a league bowler with his brother Felix and friends Bob and Marvin for many years. Thank you to everyone at Heller's for everything you have done for Dad over the years. He is survived by a brother Felix Mueller of Camas, WA. 3 daughters, Rosanne O'Dell of Castle Rock, WA (spouse Larry), Jeanette Steinhauer of Vancouver, WA (spouse Louie), Marlane Buckner of Camas, WA (spouse Ed). 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 27 years Colleen, daughter Lavonne, and son Jeff; his parents and 8 siblings. A rosary service will be held on Monday, January 11 at 6pm at St. Thomas Catholic Church. A funeral mass will follow on Tuesday, January 12 at 11am at the church. Visitation will be on Monday from 10am to 4pm at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas. In lieu of flowers please send contributions to the St. Labre Indian School 1000 Tongue River Rd.
