Andrew C. Nickas died at the age of 88 on April 19, 2023.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Greely Funeral Home in Gloucester, MA. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 11:00 at the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church in Ipswich, MA. The burial will be held in Dolliver Memorial Cemetery in Gloucester, MA.

Andrew C. Nickas was born on July 23, 1934, in Gloucester, and attended Gloucester High School. He went on to attend Norwich University and served in the Army. He worked as a Corporate Credit Manager at Gorton's Seafood.

Nickas is survived by his wife, Catherine Nickas, his daughter, Celeste Nickas Kiricoples, his son-in-law, David Kiricoples, his granddaughter, Olivia, his granddaughter, Ava, his grandson, Andrew, his sister, Stella Mantzouriani, his sister-in-law, Louise Nickas, his nephew, Anthony A. Nickas, his niece-in-law, Carolyn Nickas, his niece, Catherine Nickas Bazdanes, his nephew-in-law, Theodore Bazdanes, his niece, Eleni Mantzourani Lymberopolous, his nephew-in-law, Christos Lymberopolous, his niece, Constantina Lucido, his nephew-in-law, Joseph Lucido, his great niece, Kara Nickas, his great nephew, Steven Nickas, his great nephew, Anthony Nickas, his great nephew, Nicholas Bazdanes, his great nephew, Christopher Bazdanes, his great niece, Daphne Lymberopolous, his great niece, Melina Lymberopolous, his great niece, Zoe Lucido, his great niece, Sophia Lucido, his great niece, Gabriella Lucido, his godson, William Belezos, and his goddaughter-in-law, Jaqueline Belezos. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Nickas, his mother, Ourania Nickas, and his brother, Aristedes Nickas. Contributions can be made in his memory to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church.
