Andrew Ring

Andrew "AJ" Joseph Ring, 26, a 2-year resident of Chester, Maryland and previously of Columbia, Maryland passed away on July 15, 2025. Born on August 11, 1998 in Laurel, Maryland, Andrew graduated high school before establishing a career with Steamfitter Local 602. In his spare time, he was an avid collector of superhero and sci-fi memorabilia and enjoyed hard rock music, attending concerts, and playing video games. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and was devoted to his family. Andrew is survived by his sons, Logan and Carter; his fiancée, Jessica Sweet; his father, Joseph Ring (Jules Hopper); his mother, Jennifer Ring; his sisters, Sarah and Gabrielle Ring; his grandparents, Mark and Pamela Jones; his aunts, Donna Emery and Dawn Lovett (Ronald); and his cousin, Bradley Lovett.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Andrew's life on Saturday, July 19 from 4 to 6 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD, where his funeral service will begin at 6 pm. Interment private.
