Andrew Carl Senn, 77, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Born in Pittsburgh, PA, on October 18, 1947, Andrew was the beloved son of the late Andrew Vincent Senn and Martha Ullman Senn. He proudly served his country as a Vietnam Veteran after being drafted into the U.S. Army in 1967. Following his military service, Andrew pursued a career in the auto parts industry, working in both Pittsburgh, PA, and Fayetteville, NC.
Andrew was a man who cherished his family above all else. He was a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed Western movies, and had a passion for collecting knives. Known for his adventurous (and sometimes hair-raising) driving skills, he left unforgettable memories for those who rode with him.
Along with his parents, Andrew is preceded in death by his sister, Moria Ann Perello, and his brother, Michael Paul Senn.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Barbara Senn of the home; two daughters, Lisa Junk of Fayetteville, NC, and Tracy Korff and husband Jason of Charleston, WV; a son Andrew Paul Senn and wife Kimberly of Fayetteville, NC; grandchildren Bubba Senn, Kurt Junk II, Samantha Junk, and Nathaniel Korff. A sister Barbara Ryan of Pittsburgh, PA and many extended family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 PM at Family Community Baptist Church, 3915 Camden Road, Fayetteville, NC 28306. A funeral service with Military Honors, officiated by Pastor Roy Arrington, will follow at 4:00 PM.
Graveside services will take place on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd, Fort Liberty, NC 28310.
Andrew’s love and dedication to his family will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial donations be made to Family Community Baptist Church, 3915 Camden Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
