There are no words to express the loss of someone so special and loved as you Cousin Andrew. God has now given you your wings. Andrew you were always such a kind, caring and loving person who went through life striving to be a good brother, uncle, and son. Memories of the times we spent growing up together, I will always cherish, remember, and hold dearly. You will be missed. My prayers go out to your sister Marie, brother Chris, and niece Antionette. May they find comfort knowing that you are at peace with God.

Words I would say to you if I could: Cousin Andrew, we thank God for 57 years God allowed you to live to be a good son, brother, uncle, and man. I remember the fun times we had when y´all visited NC during the summers. I will miss calling you on your birthday because we January babies had to stick together. Glad we got to speak in July and thanks for encouraging me after my head injury. Your kind gentle soul will be missed. Your mom and dad would be proud of how you took care of Marie, your Little Sister, and Antionette, your only niece. Prayers and condolences for the family.
Love, Cousin Elaine

Cousin Andrew
Was a kind and humble man.
His passing made me think of basketball. In a game, there was always a "Go To Person" to hit the winning shot!
Cousin Andrew was that "Go To Person" for his brother Chris, his sister Marie, her support, and his neice Little Ruth, top of the line Babysitter until the role reversed! He was always the "Go To Person " to try to get things done!
And if he forgot to do something or if it slipped his mind, he would always say, "Okay, I´ll take care of it!" So on September 1st, this time, Cousin Andrew had a "Go To Person" to go to!!!
Marie, Chris, & Antoinette Ruth: "There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." Proverbs 18:24. Prayers and Condolences for the Slaughter Family! God´s Blessings
Cousin Andrew: R. I .P.
