Andrew J. Sobieski

Andrew J. Sobieski, 89, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2009, in a local hospital. Born in Pleasant Valley, PA, he was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and a member of Allentown Labor Union. Andrew is survived by his daughter, Andrea S. Barch and husband Richard of Virginia Beach, VA; five grandchildren, Catherine Baldwin and husband Adam of Kill Devil Hills, NC, Jennifer Ruiz and husband Zac of Royersford, PA, Joseph Barch of Virginia Beach, VA, Michael Sobieski of Bethlehem, PA and Gregory Barch of Clemson, SC; two great grandchildren, Christian Ruiz and Samuel Baldwin; a sister, Helene Lafferty of Chestnut Hill, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine G. Sobieski; son, Michael Sobieski and brother, George Sobetsky. Arrangements are with Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel.
