Andrew Tushak

Andrew (Andy) Tushak, 61, of Hazlet, NJ passed away Thursday, November 27th, at home with his family by his side. Andy was born in Staten Island, NY on January 22, 1964 to the late Andrew and Arlene Tushak. He is a retired police officer with the New York City Police Department and was a recent employee of Julia Rose Transport. Andy had a deep love for his country, his firearms, hunting, fishing and grilling.
Andrew is survived by his devoted wife Stacy (nee Peterson) Tushak, step children Vincent Rivera and Alexis Martinez, cherished grandchildren Adrian Martinez and Marcus Martinez. Also surviving are his loving siblings Margaret Tushak, Susan Grissler and Elaine Bender and nephew and nieces Michael Branscome, Nicole Branscome, Alyssa Collazo, Denise Blumenberg and Erin Grissler
Visitation for Andy will be held Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Day Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please donate in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Andrew, please visit our floral store.
