It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Andrew Wapner on July 22nd, 2024. A resident of Saint Petersburg, Florida, he was 77 years of age. Born on June 2nd, 1947, in Long Beach, New York, he was the son of the late Daniel and Eleanor Wapner and brother to Francis Wapner, Daniel Wapner, Ann Romano, and Mary Jane Tully.
Andrew earned his undergraduate degree at Kent State University and his law degree at John Marshall Law School. He served the community of Robinson, Illinois, as a criminal defense attorney for over 40 years.
Andrew's life was enriched by his passion for music and sports. He loved attending live concerts and sporting events; many heavyweight professional boxing matches, multiple NCAA Final Four tournaments, professional and collegiate football games among many others.
