Andrew and I were work friends at East Jefferson Hospital for many years. He used to visit me in the sleep lab, and we did the daily crossword puzzles together. I moved back to Minnesota after Hurricane Katrina, and we lost touch. I have three of his beautiful paintings, and went online to see if he was selling his art anywhere. That's when I found his obituary.
Andrew was super intelligent, calm, funny, talented and a true friend. I am so sorry for his family and friends, as I know he was the rock in that family.
I never met his wife or kids, but he spoke of them lovingly and often.
Rock on, Drew. I wish I had reached out sooner.
