Andrzej W. Steplewski, age 59, husband of Klaudia (Pomerenke) Steplewski, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at home.
Andrzej was born on March 11, 1965 in Zabrze, Poland. He was a son of Zenon Steplewski, husband of Maryla Obrocka of Malvern, PA and the late Wilhelmina (Lerher) Steplewska.
Andrzej attended High School nr 1 in Zabrze, Poland and received maturity diploma in 1984. He furthered his education by studying in the School of Pharmacy at Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland. He received his Pharmacy diploma in 1991. He immigrated to the United States in 1992. Andrzej's professional career was as a research scientist at the Thomas Jefferson University, Department of Orthopedic Surgery.
Andrzej had a passion for sports and especially enjoyed watching soccer on weekends with his sons and more recently baseball. Oftentimes, you would find him with his favorite snack bags of chips, nuts, or pretzels in hand. He was a music lover, amassing a large vinyl & CD collection. He was learning to play guitar, having accumulated a small guitar collection. His favorite bands were Dire Straits, Pink Floyd and Electric Light Orchestra. In his free time, he was learning to play on the electric guitar his favorite song - Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd.
Spending time with his family was of the utmost importance to Andrzej. He looked forward to yearly trips to the Outer Banks, mainly visiting Salvo and Avon. He loved going camping, whether it was to a destination or even just in a tent up in the back yard. He had an affinity for dogs and absolutely loved all breeds. There was never a dog that met him that didn't take to him.
