I´m going to miss my brother, or as he was also known "pops" (that´s another story).
I´ll always remember that half smile half smirk he had and that unique way of calming down an upset player or coach during one of the many games or matches we called with each other.

One of the things I loved about being around him is that we could call either lil dribblers or tournament games all day, go out to eat after, spend 2-3 hours at the restaurant after being on the court together for 6ish hours and still never run out of things to talk or laugh about the whole entire day. Then do the same thing the next and next weekend.
He was definitely one of a kind that personality was embraced by all.
Glad to have known this man and truely appreciate alllll the memories we made together. Luv ya brotha

Had the pleasure of working basketball games with Andy. He loved the game he was passionate about the job he was doing on the court. He worked many games for me at the Marble Falls boys tournament. Andy was also a good person who always was positive and had a smile. He will be missed but not forgotten. My condolences go out to the family.

Andy was one of the first basketball officials I worked with in Austin; I'll always remember his smirks, jokes, and jovial personality. Condolences to his family & friends.

I had the privilege of knowing and working with Andy as a basketball official. Andy's positive attitude, knowledge of the game and calming demeanor are traits I try to emulate.

Andy brought light and joy we he entered a room. He had the ability to see the good in others and help them see it in themselves.

A kinder gentleman would be hard to find. I know of no one who was around him to have anything but positive things to say about him, because he was that way toward everyone else.
