Andy C. Klein, 69, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on February 13, 2025, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. He was born on May 9, 1955, in Sedalia, MO, the son of Tommy Klein Sr. and Marion Guiles, who preceded him in death.
On April 10, 1976, in Sedalia, MO, he was united in marriage to Diana Hackman, who resides in the home.
Andy was a 1973 graduate of Northwest High School in Hughesville, MO. He worked on the family farm for several years before driving a semi over the road. He then started working at Payless Cashways and worked for Alcan Cable, where he later retired in 2020. He had a deep love for his hobby of hauling scrap iron, a passion that he dedicated much of his time to. He also had a great love for his family, enjoying being outdoors, attending sporting events with his grandkids, and going to estate sales.
Besides his wife, Diana Klein, Andy is also survived by a son, Alan Klein of Houstonia, MO; a brother, Tommy (Bud) Klein Jr. and his wife Loretta of Sedalia, MO; a sister, Elva Mae Smith and her husband Kenny of La Monte, MO; granddaughter, Jacqueline Klein (Keaton) of Sweet Springs, MO; and a grandson, Levi Klein of Houstonia, MO.
Besides his parents, Andy is preceded in death by a son, Brian Klein.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with pastor Dan Dickey officiating.
The burial will follow at Mt. Herman Cemetery, Sedalia, MO.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Combs, Chris Payne, Wendell Zimmerman, Miles Curry, David Johnson, and Rick Arnold.
Honorary bearers will be Bob Ferguson, David Selvey, Preston Harbison, and Bill Curry.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hopewell Baptist Church in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
