Angel Leyva Espinosa

Angel Leyva Espinosa, 55, of California, MO passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City, MO. He was born on November 13, 1969 in Sand Diego de la Union GTO, Mexico the son of J. Refujio Leyva and Emelia Espinosa both of whom preceded him in death. He was later united in marriage on November 29, 2003 at Lebanon Baptist Church to Jana (Yarnell) Leyva. He enjoyed working for Capital Paving and Construction for over 20 years. He was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in California, MO. Angel enjoyed yard work, watching the San Francisco Forty Niners, hunting with his brothers, traveling and especially spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Jana Leyva of the home; son Mathew Leyva of K.C. MO; 2 daughters Mackenzie Kueffer of Jefferson City, MO and Ashley Leyva of Lawrence, KS; also 11 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 10:00 A.M.- 11:00 A.M. with Funeral Mass immediately following at 11:00 A.M. all at Annunciation Catholic Church. Officiating will be Father Anthony Viviano. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family of Angel Leyva c/o the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services of California, MO.
